Singam 2 begins from where Singam ends. As per the story of Singam, Prakash Raj dies and hence he will not be featuring in Singam 2. Apart from him, others who have acted in Singam have been signed for Singam 2.Apart from them Hansika and Mukesh Rishi will be donning important roles. Surya will be donning two kinds of roles in this film. The shooting of this film is to take place for 105 days continuously. Hari will be completing the entire film within this duration.
Director Hari while speaking about this film said, “Surya is donning two different kinds of roles in this film. Anushka is donningthe role of an industrialist’s daughter while Hansika dons the role of a college girl. Major portions of this film will be shot in Tuticorin since the story has the backdrop of Tuticorin. The story of this film which begins in Tuticorin will end in South Africa.
