All the film industries and films tend to follow trends, while some products set the trend. So what is that so called 'trend' Tollywood is following now and who are those 'trendsetters'?
Frankly speaking, there is no such thing called 'trend' in Tollywood in the present times. While heroes are sounding those 'trend' dialogues on the screen, they themselves are not following that in their next movies.
An art flick like 'Journey' is a hit, but 'Endukante Premanta' failed. A mass movie like 'Rachha' is a hit, but same kind of 'Dammu' just turned average. Super hit song like 'Kevvu Keka' flopped visually. Skin-show less 'Ee Rojullo' shocked big producers and directors. All these things clearly show that whatever the product is, it should just entertain audiences and they don't follow 'trend' to make only particular type of films a hit.
All of our star heroes are like single-flick Rajas at the moment. None of them are setting trend with their superhit movies. It is only directors who are making the best of these heroes, but they are also tumbling for a couple of movies after giving a blockbuster. So, there is no one to set trend here! The only point here is to entertain people. No following trend and setting trend!
