Gundamma Katha (June 7th, 1962), one of the all-time classics, has entered into the golden jubilee (50th) year today. The legendary
actors of Telugu Cinema (NTR, ANR, SVR, Savithri, Suryakantham) were
part of this iconic film. Can we expect a remake of his classic? Who
would be the best fit to the roles played by NTR and ANR? Will it be
Balakrishna-Nagarjuna or Jr NTR-Naga Chaitanya?

Nageswara Rao opined that as both Balakrishna and Nagarjuna were in
their 50's now, they mayn't be fit for the roles of youngsters. Instead,
the legendary actor preferred Jr NTR-Naga Chaitanya saying that they are 'The Best'.
Notably, both NTR and Chaitu were keen on doing a remake of Gundamma Katha. As the actors
for the roles of NTR and ANR were finalized, who would be playing
Gundamma is the million dollar question now. Is there anyone to replace Suryakantham? If they could find her, then the remake is certain to happen! The search is on...
